Are the mugs dishwasher and microwave safe?

Yes. Every mug is food safe, lead free, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe. They're high-fired stoneware with a fully sealed glaze, so they stand up to daily use without crazing or losing their finish. On the dishwasher, either rack is fine — the top rack keeps the glaze looking new a little longer. In the microwave, they're fine for reheating coffee, tea, soup, or oatmeal; the mug can get warm after long heating, so use the handle. Avoid sudden temperature swings (freezer straight to microwave, or boiling water into a cold mug), which can crack any ceramic. Oven use is not recommended.

What size are the mugs and how much do they hold?

Each mug holds about 14–16 oz — comfortable for a full morning coffee or a generous cup of tea — with a substantial handle that fits the hand well.

Will my mug look exactly like the photo?

Close, but not identical. Each piece is made by hand, so the glaze pattern, weight, and size vary slightly from one to the next. That variation is the point — yours will be one of a kind.
